As a mom of three littles, I know how fast time flies by when you're in the thick of raising your babies.
I also know it's no small task to make space to plan for a family photoshoot -- and I want to honor the effort it takes just to be here, going through my site and considering a photoshoot in this season of life.
And I hope you know how much I'm celebrating you for wanting to capture these memories (and how grateful I am that you're here to learn more about my sessions).
My goal with every client is to create a photography session experience that feels like a soft exhale -- a session where you feel fully taken care of, guided, and have space to just "be", knowing you're going to love all of the photos.
As a mama and parent, you want nothing more than to soak up every second you get with your little ones. Feeling the warmth in your heart when they smile as they see you walking into their room, dancing to their favorite songs before bed, reading pop up books and hearing them learn how to pronounce new words... it's all so perfect, and if you could, you'd do everything to freeze time and live in each moment forever.
When you book a photography session with me, my passion is helping you bring these everyday moments to life. I'll never put you in stiff poses or make you force a smile. My sessions are created in a way that allow you to be fully present, to laugh, to dance, to move, to play, to let your littles ones have FUN and capture the genuine smiles and belly laughs.
These are the photos you'll love today, and treasure for the rest of your life.
Self care is something I am so passionate about. As moms, we have to find ways to take care of ourselves. For me its a cup of coffee in my favorite cup (it just tastes better), doing my daily workout, and a hot bath at night with my mocktail in hand. I also love to invest in a good skincare routine to elevate the way I feel in the everyday moments.
Any opportunity I get to photograph my kids or my family, I will happily take. I have a husband that says "we just took family photos" all the time because I value these memories so much. While it's not the easiest to coordinate outfits, manage toddler emotions, and make sure they're all looked after (including our littlest newborn), there are so many times I look at our family wall of photos and think "how have they changes to much already". Without those images, those tiny details that you swore you'd never forget start to fade.
We go through so much of our lives only celebrating the big milestones -- but I love to see their faces light up with the smallest of moments. Running through the sprinkler in the summer. Enjoying a popsicle outside while wrapped in towels under the heat of the summer sun. Or putting together a simple Boo Basket to celebrate the first day of fall with books, stickers and a cupcake mix that we'll bake together later. We also love to make breakfast together on Christmas morning. The things that seem so simple to us brings them so much joy.
I share often about how a clean and organized home brings my mind so much peace. When things are curated and thoughtfully put together, it makes my heart sing. I approach a lot of my photography work in the same way. Thinking about how your family will get the most use out of your images and how the photos can be thoughtfully designed into your space.
Outside of my family there isn't much that gives me the same amount of joy like a good cup of coffee. Most nights I go to bed thinking about it. The comfort that a hot cup of coffee brings, a book and warm blanket first thing in the morning -- these are the things that fill my cup. They allow me a sliver of personal time before the house wakes up and needs me.
I never thought being a mom would bring so much fulfillment to my life until it happened. Our journey was far from easy, but I wouldn't trade any of it. The crazy bedhead when my four year old climbs in our bed, the way our toddler says "Peez!" when she wants something, or the softness of our newborns' new skin against mine. It reminds me I am rich in so many ways.
As soon as you book your photography session, I'll help you plan everything out so the prep feels easy, and seamless. I'll share my favorite photoshoot locations, help you shop your closet (if you already have things you love), or help you choose a dress from my client wardrobe that will help you feel both confident and beautiful.
I'll also send over my prep guide so you have all of the details and information you need to get everyone feeling ready and excited for the session day.
My clients book me because they want photos that look like they came straight from a magazine, but with an experience that feels high-touch and personalized. And that's exactly what we'll create for you and your family.
You'll be surprised at how fun the session will feel, and how everyone will leave asking "when can we do that again?"
